Mid-May 2024, the leaves are brand-new and acid-green, flowers appear, and the sun feels warm on the face. We make our yearly journey to the Llyn Peninsula for First Camp, the slow-life festival we organise with friends from Snow Peak and Bert’s Kitchen Garden.

First Camp champions a mindful life in the outdoors, not sport-led or alpine-ambitious but relaxed and grounding. A chance to nurture our earthly roots.

For the third consecutive year the weather gods smiled upon us. Blessing us with bright skies, mellow air and even a visit from the aurora borealis. We must be doing something right…
