La Sportiva’s Men's TX5 Low GORE-TEX hiking shoe is a technical choice suited to approach routes, steep hiking and via ferrata. Structured and protective, it excels during prolonged use and is suited to days with heavy loads. The high-quality nubuck leather upper is combined with a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane to ensure comfortable waterproof protection without compromising breathability. The abrasion-resistant all-round rand makes it sturdy and durable, while the STB Control system integrates the midsole with the upper for an enhanced fit and increased stability while traversing. It utilises the distinctive, climbing-derived Mythos lacing system that wraps around the uppers for precise regulation of volume and intricate fit adjustments. Underfoot, the Vibram Megagrip compound and pronounced heel combine with the hiking-specific lugs that are orientated to enable downhill braking and uphill grip.
